KOMODO TITANIUM BEZEL
Available in several variations, the Komodo Ti bezel is either solid stainless steel with a titanium-colored PVD coating, or features a stainless base with a brushed ceramic insert. Scroll to the bottom of the page for a video tutorial of the bezel removal and installation process.
Note: The stock bezel included with the Komodo Ti is the Solid Stainless bezel with a Titanium-colored PVD coating and full lume (BEZ-11-1 or BEZ-11-2), not the bezel with the black ceramic insert. Difficulty Rating: Slightly Challenging (Removal involves more risk of scratching since the case is titanium.) SPECIFICATIONS:
US$35.00 + Shipping

BEZEL SPRING Seated between the watch case and bezel, the up-turned prongs on the bezel spring engage the notches on the underside of the bezel to control the ratcheting action and prevent clockwise rotation. SPECIFICATIONS:
US$5.00 + Shipping

|
BEZEL TENSION WIRE Seated in a groove that runs around the inner circumference of the bezel, the tension wire secures the bezel to the case and helps control the rotational resistance. SPECIFICATIONS:

The video tutorial below shows the Vanuatu, but the removal and installation process is the same for the Khuraburi, Komodo and Miyako. Note: Making any modification to your watch involves some risk. Swapping bezels is a modification, and although the process is relatively simple, there is always some risk of damage (a scratched case, chipped crystal, a stuck bezel, etc.). If you choose to modify your watch, you understand and accept that risk. |
