WARRANTY & REPAIR
![]()
All HELM watches include a one year international transferable warranty.
HELM Watches warrants that your watch will be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. If you discover a defect in material or workmanship within the warranty period, we will, at our sole discretion, repair or replace your watch without charge to you, subject to the following conditions: 1. The watch was purchased from an authorized HELM Watches retailer. 2. The damage or malfunction is the result, in our sole opinion, of a defect in material or workmanship and not the result of an accident or owner negligence. 3. The International Warranty Card included with your watch at the time of purchase is submitted with the watch when presented for a warranty claim. 4. Shipping costs incurred in the process of presenting the watch for a warranty claim (including but not limited to postage, insurance and packing materials) are the watch owner's responsibility. A few examples of issues that are not considered defects in material or workmanship include normal signs of wear (such as scratches on the case, crystal, bezel or bracelet) and damage or malfunction due to an accident or negligence (such as a dropped watch with a cracked crystal). WATER INTRUSION: Since each watch is subjected to an over-pressure test (in water) before being sold, we can be sure every watch is watertight when it leaves our hands. When a water damaged watch is received at the repair center, it will first be pressure tested to determine whether it's watertight. A successful test indicates the water intrusion is likely due to user error (such as failure to secure the screw-down crown) and is generally not covered by the warranty. A failed test on a watch that's still under warranty may indicate a defect with the seals or the case, and is generally covered by the warranty, provided that there are no outward signs of damage (such as an obviously damaged crown or crystal) and no evidence that the watch was opened and not properly closed (such as a pinched or missing caseback gasket or an improperly tightened caseback). Your HELM watch includes an instruction manual with a number of guidelines for proper care and use. Please read it carefully to avoid improper care an use. It's our genuine hope that your HELM watch will be with you for life. If you encounter a problem with your watch, we'll do our best to help. Out of warranty repairs are subject to reasonable repair charges. Most basic repairs will be completed in 4 to 6 weeks, while more complicated repairs (movement overhauls or dial refinishing, for example) may require more time.
